I would suggest going over the socketing of the ecu and make sure there are no cold solder joints.

Owner of the car has come to some kind of agreement with the dealer who sold him the S300. Seems as though a replacement is going to be sent pre-socketed and tested.

Who socketed the ecu? Have you checked for fuel and spark?

I am getting both fuel and spark. Yesterday I put the original ECU back in the car and dropped the fuel pressure quite a bit to compensate for the over-sized injectors and it fired up idled and reved fine.

All the built in calibrations can be found by goign to File, New. You will probably have to start with a P06 or P08 basemap and start making changes from there.
