i figured it out. turns out you can edit stuff like the shift light without burning the chip. set it up to 6700 and all is well now. im just wondering if i can change my vtec crossover point the same way? right now its set way too high (5700), i wanted to lower it to about 5200. is there any way for ...

well i decided to mess around with datalogging today. so i went and hooked the laptop up to my hondata s200 control module via a serial-usb cable. i then tried using the hondalogger software, but it didnt work, kept crashing with error codes and never read the sensors. So then i tried using ...

well its not that its leaving the cel on all the time, its just when its at 7300 or above rpm. once it gets below that it disappears. just wondering if its something to worry about or not?

what will it reset? i think im gona go buy a serial cable, hook it up to a laptop with hondalogger on it and see what code its throwing at 7300rpm.

talked to my tuner, he said there is no shift light enabled, so any idea why at anything over 7300rpm the cel comes on?
