Straight from the "Start Here" page on the Hondata website...

For best results naturally aspirated ECUs should be tuned to each individual engine setup and forced induction ECUs must be tuned. Each engine combination is different and this is the only way to get optimum results for your application ...

Re: how will get to tune it if i buy it

Holy cow, in 21 hours I can drive all the way across the country. Then again, your in Canada... Roads dont go straight there do they?

Perhaps their is a Hondata dealer in your area that is willing to tune your ...

Did you look at the website at all? It shows screen shots of the software. Its pretty clear how it is tuned and how simple it is to select a region of the map and add or subtract timing or fuel. Sorry, I dont mean to seem harsh but their is even a demo you can download of the RomEditor so you can ...

Strangely I was driving the other day and only a half block from my house the car just dies and the CEL goes solid and the car wont restart at all. Lucky for me I coasted down hill to my house and made it into the driveway. (Man thats luck!) Anyhow, I check a few things in the driveway and it still ...

First call me stupid, then tell me what the hell a J&S is.

Ok stupid  Its a J&S Safeguard, basicly an individual cyl knock timing control. It uses its own knock sensor to retard timing on a per cyl basis from what it "hears" and the severity of it. Not a bad device to have if your ...

This is basicly the reason I sold my J&S. Tach wouldnt work for me so I sold it while it was worth something. Not a bad unit, but having a working tach was more important to me. (I also tried the resistor trick, it didnt seem to help either.)

99.9% chance your problem is the serial cable your using. I had to buy 3 different types of cable before I could get mine to work. Only one type will work with the system. I wish I knew which it was or i'd share that with you.

I bought my Keyspan adapter from these people: http://www.pcconnection.com/scripts/showcase/ffshowcase.asp?vendor=Keyspan&showcase=G

$35, free shipping...

Remember to install the drivers it comes with. (I downloaded the latest driver just to be sure it was up to date.) Depending on your laptop ...
