ok, cool. that's what i was told before but i just wanted to be sure that i installed the correct jumper/resistor. i have the tan w/ black stripe resistor so i'll use that.

but i do have two more questions: what kind of jumper/resistor do i use to complete the circuit on RP18? do i use the resistor from RP17 or the new resistor that i got with the Hondata 2B package (the tan w/ black stripe) for RP18?
