Doesn't sound like a vaccum leak to me as that would make it not want to idle at all. There is an idle sensor that may have gone bad and is not telling the computer to idle down.

Run a test pipe if you can get away with it. Depending on what other mods you have done a test pipe will give you much better upper RPM power.

If I purchase the skunk intake manifold (or other after market intake) will I see and increase in power? IF so how much?
