I have a p72 obd1 s300. I bought it used locally from a running car.

LEDS dont flash, ive used two different laptops none of them can connect, used two different serial/usb cables, Ive tried connecting to s300 in three different cars, ive pulled the ecu apart and checked the solders and socketing ...

Intake: 11.7mm Lift and 293 duration
Exhaust: 11.8mm Lift and 295 duration

I can see these cams for all motor application but Im going with a small turbo setup around 10 lbs on a built GSR.

Just want to know what you guys think?

How much would it cost for someone to look at it?

No I dont know who did the socketing, I bought this on ebay. I did however pull the cover off and inspect the ecu to even see if there was hondata installed.

Hondata is installed and is very clean on the inside! I inspected for burnt solder joints and havent found anything.

I am running windows xp. Yes I have updated every driver I could. Something interesting happens when I turn the key to on position.

The device manager screen blinks rapidly like 10 times then says at the bottom of screen that USB device not recognized.

Yes when I plug it in and turn the key on, the device manager screen goes blank and then comes back on. but no changes in USB devices.

I have already updated drivers and tested USB,s but still says there non compatible.

nope nothing shows up. I was hoping that the yellow box would be showing up next to it but not even the word hondata shows up anywhere?

With the key on,in the windows device manager under universal USB devices, Hondata s300 doesnt even show up.

I just tried a different laptop and still no work?

I have a 2000 honda civic ex, D16y8 stock with exhaust, im running S300 with p72 ob1 comp.

I keep getting the "non compatible USB devices pop up."

Ive tested the USB port on laptop with other USB devices and they work and even switched USB cords, STILL not working.

How do I get the laptop to ...

well lets see, if you are using acual P30 pistons with LS rods and pistons, I would say your comp. ratio would be somewhere around 13.0:1. This is assuming that you have not had the head shaved and/or running a thinner headgasket.

Honestly I believe in running "higher" comp. ratios with turbo ...
