YEEEAAAHHHH!!!!

Well, to update the ongoing cel/idle saga, I fixed the check engine light last night (temporarily). The rubber plug inside the coolant temp sensor has come loose, so I'm either gonna have to find a way to keep the rubber in the connector, or replace the connector. So that takes care of the cel!!!

Okay, I pulled the trouble code. It's a #6-Coolant temp sensor, which seems reasonable, I guess, since the light didn't appear until I replaced the thermostat. It was plugged up(I checked that first of course). That still does't explain the high idle situation, does it? I did notice ...

You're talking about putting the paperclip in the "front" side of the connector, where the female plug WOULD go, and where those pins from the female plug WOULD make contact, correct? That's the only way I know how to do it, or, back-probing the connector, and I've also heard of some techs even ...

Well, I got the starter fixed!!!Stupi solenoid!!!!
Thank goodness for honda/acura having their heads out of their @$$!!!
I had an old LS trans that I'm planning on having reworked that still had a starter on it!!!

OKAY!! I found what I believe to be the diagnostic plug. It's not blue, but grey, and was in a green rubber cover thing. I jumped the two wires and the light didn't do anything. So, I bought a usb-to-serial cable and tried to pull the code through the s200 using the datalogger, but I don't think it ...
