sorry to bump, but got a resulution to the issue and never posted.....

it ended up being a hole in the gasket for the throttlebody.

we replaced the gasket and everything was fine once we calibrated the tps.

Ok, the basics first:

b18c5 motor and tranny with 4.9 final drive
obd2 wired car with obd2 to obd1 harness and p28 s200
toda spec c cams (@ 0,0)
hytech header
short ram intake
2.5" mandrel exhaust

Street tuned to 13.5-14:1 with wideband.

The cams idle at columns 5 and 6 instead of the 1-2 range ...

This when trying to open my program that I have "moved" from my chip using the pocketlogger to the laptop's hard drive.....

I have tried to save the file as a .bin as well as a .hex file and neither seems to work. Same error for both.

Any ideas? I'd like to open and view the program that the ...

Problem:

Car seems to run very rich. Makes more power from 6k to 8k than my p73 dyno tuned with a vafc. Less power from 4k to ...

.....the injectors seem to be working fine, but what do I know? Startups are always a simple flick of the key. No problems (knock on wood).

I checked under the hood today for the first time since installation.

I take it I have the old stage 2, no boost, no datalogging.....

Idle is not stable. It fluctuates from 1k to 2k cyclically once warm. Car doesn't shut off ...
