I have yet to try the tune just yet. Potentially stupid question should i time ignition with an open loop tune or closed loop?

Well that's my problem the tuner barely did shit and wore tf out of my cams. Would I be able to upload a base map and fix those values myself? I understand timing will have to be 100% proper at that point. I want to at least get it to a map that works so I can get it tuned and dynod

I believed that was what I was doing. The little drop down menu in the s300 isn't that it? And I didn't use a dial back timing light i only have a basic one

I'm setting timing by going into the s300 and adjusting that timing to 16 degrees. Go ahead and start the car, using my timing light I'm looking for the red mark in the middle on the balancer and trying to align it to the best I can. But after a little time it changes again
