OK, they agreed to a re-tune. Also, if there is any information about San Diego tuners, I would be interested.

So my car is running in SAFE/LIMP mode due to a CEL code 3, MAP sensor error. This means it is running off the backup ECU fuel tables basically dumping fuel into the engine, and NOT using the programmable EPROM tables.

My tuner is 'checking' to see if the Hondata system bypasses LIMP mode in this ...

OK, so i got my P28 configured with Hondata ... the Hondata just flashes each time the key is in the 'on' position.

i tried jumping J1, and leaving it open. Both same effects.

ideas?
