Then why do some PRB Kpro V3's have it and others do not? My friend's Kpro does not have it and most others don't either. I have only found one picture online with the resistor and pads jumped. Most do not. It will help me narrow down if the high idle is a bad ECU or bad Kpro.

I looked through as many pictures as I could find online of the PRB with the Kpro V3 and most do not have a resistor or jumper. I did however find one. It leaves me confused. The resistor mod is 100% from Hondata and is not in the OEM ECU's. Why would most not have a resistor and only a few have ...

I will try to clarify a little better. When I first got the Kpro, it would idle at 3k right off the bat.
