Re: High knock count need help
What I would do is to pull 2 degrees of ignition in the areas where you are getting knock (you must datalog, then make the ignition table follow the datalog cursor or position). If knock decreases: Then its real knock and the tune is just too aggressive. If no change? try pulling 2 more, then if ...

Is My Tune Healthy Enough For A New Catback Exhaust?
Hi Hondata.
I have a question regarding Knock control and count. I am on the stock hondata Tune (basemap) [CARB].
I only have KN Filter and Mishimoto intake tube. Soon will be adding a catabck exhaust, but I need to confirm that
my basemap tune and my car are healthy first.
I live in Texas, so in ...

Altering the Crank Pulley Weight
Hello. I am installing a lightweight crank pulley (stock diameter) soon on my stock tuned civic si.
I heard the k20 is internally balanced engine and the crank pulley is not an actual balancer.
Is that information true?
Do you advice against going with lighter crank pulley for a k20 engine?

Adjust Idle RPM
Hello Hondata... I have been running the stock hondata tune on my 2007 honda civic si for a while and I love it.
One of the things that I used to hate, even before i got the tune, is the idle RPM, which felt low and sluggish from take-off.
My Question is, can I use Flashpro to raise the idle RPM ...

Re: Why Knock Level is like this?
So what do you think the culprit in this case? Just bad fuel? Or mechanical noise?
I have a hard time believing it is a real knock.

Re: Why Knock Level is like this?
I am using hondata CARB , which i think does not allow editing tables.
I use 91 fuel in Texas.
Also, i forgot to mention that i use solid mounts on lower rear and upper passenger mount.
Thanks.

Why Knock Level is like this?
Hello.. I have been enjoying the Flashpro a ton since i got it.
However, i decided to log my car after 6 months of being tuned.
The issue:
My knock level is confusing me. It starts at 70%-84%, then stays at 100% for the rest of the drive after a WOT pull from 20-50mph in 3rd gear.

Is This Normal ? Flashpro [CARB] Basemap stock tuned
Hello. I have a 2007 Honda Civic Si 4dr (bone stock).
I bought the CARB Hondata Flashpro and uploaded the Stock Tuned Basemap [CARB] that came with it.
I datalogged my test drive, and I noticed some knocks occurring at high load / low RPM. Is this Normal? Or do I need to worry about it?
Also, can ...
