Hondata & AEM Gauges Issues
So I got my hondata ecu installed and tuned and everything now, however, when I set up some AEM gauges, (water temp and oil pressure), I can't figure out how to get them to show accurately on the computer so the ecu can show me what it sees on my laptop as well as the gauges. I had replaced my oil ...

Re: S300 Installed Now Won't Start
So it turned out somehow when I loaded a base tune I didn't do it properly or the fuel maps weren't accurate for what my car needed as the local tuner near me made me a base tune after hearing it almost start with the stock ecu and it would've fired up the same if the battery weren't so dead. I'm ...

Re: S300 Installed Now Won't Start
Upon swapping back to the stock ecu it seems that I must have a bad base tune or something loaded as the stock ecu got the spark plugs to fire and the car would've start if I didn't kill the battery lol. Got a buddy in the next town that could make a base tune for me though as the ones in the ...

Re: S300 Installed Now Won't Start
Yes it ran perfectly fine for about 2 years of us owning the car with the stock ecu. I never touched anything with the ignition system when doing any work on my car besides replacing the cap and rotor a couple times.

Re: S300 Installed Now Won't Start
The stock OBDII distributor with an MSD Cap and Rotor (part no. 89293) with the internal coil removed as I have an aftermarket external coil as well (MSD Blaster SS part no. 8207)

Re: S300 Installed Now Won't Start
The harness I used was only for the obd1 hondata to my obd2a wiring. I do know there are jumper harnesses for the ckp sensor to an obd1 distributor I could buy but I'm not sure how to check if I actually NEED that. How would I go about checking if the ecu is getting the signal from the ckp for it to ...

Re: S300 Installed Now Won't Start
what about the CKP? I read that it was a common issue with my car when swapping to Hondata ECUs as the CKP is on my oil pump housing instead of in the distributor itself such as the OBD1 distributors, would I have to install a jumper harness like I've seen others do? I narrowed my no spark issues to ...

Re: S300 Installed Now Won't Start
I was wondering if it could be anything I unknowingly did that could prevent the hondata from sending an ignition signal to my spark plugs so the engine can turn over properly. I know I used the A10 ELD pin for my wideband and now I have an error code for it however I don't really understand what ...

S300 Installed Now Won't Start
Hello forums, I just recently re-built my 1997 Honda Prelude Type SH with various mods, cams, sleeves, pistons, etc. Anyways I had modified my engine to the point where my stock ECU just wasn't going to cut it, so I got a Hondata S300 and jumper harness for my OBDIIa car. Anyways I've installed and ...

Re: Help with Cammed H22 Base Tune
I'm sorry but I swore I saw someone provide an answer just yesterday but now it's gone? Well it mentioned something about inputting the ccs for my injectors and adjusting the deadtime for them as well to account for the cams, I already put in the ccs and adjusted the dead time so they'd match the ...

Re: Help with Cammed H22 Base Tune
I figured. Those were my intentions of course but I found a tune with my cams in the vault which I downloaded and then changed up a bit to suit my engine so it should hopefully run fine enough on its own to be broken in and then I'll go take her to a dyno to get properly tuned by someone who knows ...

Help with Cammed H22 Base Tune
Hello forum, I'm in the process of rebuilding my 1997 Honda Prelude Type SH with an H22a4 engine that has a little too many mods that the stock ecu can handle, so I am here with my Hondata S300 installed into her but I can't find a parameter fitting what I've done to my H22, the only ones I see are ...

Re: Wideband Wiring Questions
You're right I'm sorry, I'm just confused but it seems like it'll be fine with the oem parts not connected and tied off somewhere. My car has the luxury of being so old that the fan switch and ECT are separate so the fan will be find and the oem oil pressure switch just tells the oil light when to ...

Re: Wideband Wiring Questions
So would there be a way I can use oem gauges with the aftermarket sensors?
