Re: Cam angle issue
I had this issue years ago. It came about when I swapped in k24a2 into ep3. I change out the k24a2 RBB vtc solenoid for a PNC solenoid & the problem went away. Although it seemed to run fine I didn't like "jittery" datalogs

bump - still looking for a definitive answer on running the '06 intake cam on a '04 tsx motor... hondata was never real clear on what motor you can safely advance to 45 vtc. the 06 motors have deeper valve reliefs in the pistons...
sooo once again does anyone know what kind of advance we can run on ...

I was trying to help a friend out that has a k20z1 with 11.7 wiseco's & the same BluePrint Stage 2 cams & the motor runs VERY lean right at 2500 rpm (wot)! I added a ton of fuel but it still spikes to 14.5+ afr  (was over 15.5)... the motor was asking for more fuel @ 2500 than anywhere on the ...

thanks - I guess I might try 40vtc. I do plan on replacing the springs/retainers/seats with new '06 oem parts (actually outer RSX springs/ret with s2k seats I believe)

'06 TSX intake cam in a 2004 k24a2
I have a '04 TSX swap in a ep3 & just acquired a 2006 tsx intake cam. How much clearance do I have? I was thinking of running 40 vtc max but I am not sure.
Hondata says a max of 40 or 45 vtc but I believe thats on a stock '04-'05 motor.
does anyone have any experience?

doesn't K-pro have a Countershaft driven speed sensor option? is the signal able to travel thru a 02-04 harness? if you wire 5v power say pin e5... of course I would only suggest this to someone thats a wiring expert.
I am not sure of what problems this can create - obviously doing anything of the ...

wow you have been busy.. I thank you for all the fuel compensation tables. I have notice my k24a2 running very lean on cold starts (32 deg + IAT's of 40 deg) less than 40 minutes later I was running very rich with IAT's of 110 (heatsoaked intake in an EP3)
