Good point - the PRA ECU does not have a serial output. The reason why the PRA does not have the serial output like the PRB is that the PRA flash memory is 99.9% full, and there is no room to add any extra features.

The Race Technology box translates the ECU output to that which the DL1/Dash can ...

Serial Output

The K-Series ECU can be configured to output a serial stream for a datalogger.

Note that only PRB calibrations support the serial ouput. PRB calibrations may be used in PNF, PRD, PRC and PND ECUs with re-tuning, but cannot be used in PRA ECUs.

Are you using a PRA ECU ? Im ...

You should be using the stock FPR. K-sereis engines run at a fixed fuel pressure. Unfortunately this does not fall in to the Hondata area of expertise. You may want to contact your tuner for assistance with this.

This is a Type R K series with JRSC in a Lotus swap - but you answered it - fixed ...

I have a Euro Type R with PRA ECu in a Lotus Exige - HAve fitted a JRSC with 650 cc inj and 9 psi pulley.

AltF - alternator field, measures the amount of current the alternator is providing.
AltC - alternator control, used by the ECU to control the output voltage.
AltL - alternator charge light, used by the ECU to send the multiplex signal to the dash that the alternator is not charging.

On the JDM ...

K20A2 Alternator Charge lamp

I have been following the K20A engine swop wiring diagram but get stuck at the alternator charge lamp.

On my harness ( European Civic Type R ) there is no connection on pin 8 of the Engine harness. There are 4 wires from the alternator - one is +12V and the other 3 go to the ECU plug B - White/blue ...
