Well , that 45 degrees of adv is a huge problem and one that might cause your engine to blow-up.. from your calibration it does not have anything out of the ordinary , so I would suggest to check all your plugs (tps/map/etc..) anything you can find make sure its tight and also check to see if any ...

Without the calibration we can't really tell what is going wrong. So the early activation (will be 200rpm aprox) , so we can rule out that possibility cause you are 500~ rpm less than that.
Make sure you don't have any protection enabled.

Well sorry for the late reply , I am having issues with close loop myself , but if you need general knowledge and information to better understand how cl should work and short term long term , you can hit me up to clarify somethings and maybe share some settings (that worked really well for me)

So another update. Tuned the car with proper dead times, everything is good.
Now when I enabled close loop , it leaned out (not completly) , 18~ afrs (IN Display the CL flag was still not on)
after whack of the throttle and returned to idle (CL flag enabled) (not sure why)
It seemed to be working ...

The first thing to check is at the Rev Limits, make sure activation rpm , is @ late (further left) and power reduction to none. (Have the same settings for the past 3-4 years) , no issues, but I have also experienced what you say.

So quick update.
I noticed that I do use the wrong dead times for my injectors.
Used the correct ones (added ~45% more fuel) in order to get it stoich (@ idle) , that worked out fine.
Also used new wideband LSU4.9 (Innovate MTX-L plus)

But behaviour still remained the same. once enabled close loop ...

I am using 440cc RC Engineering Injector SL9-0440 , they are checked and cleaned , they are matched 100% and they don't have many kms after cleaning and checking them.

Also something I forgot to mention , is that not sure if the ecu is intact after the fire (everything seems to be working so I think its fine)
ELD is enabled , also we did a COP conversion with doctronik coil on plug , normally it would not affect it but not sure the circuit inside the ecu if it ...

So small update , yesterday went out and did some testing , sensor threw an E8 and the car just was off its mind. , I had to put back the open loop tune and then fix the sensor (which I did) and now its working again perfectly!

I did a datalog but looking at it , the CL remains OFF (in the graphs) which is very odd. So that will not determine a lot of stuff.


What I did notice is that after I turned it ON , the AFRs leaned out, map went to 433mbar and rpm dropped to 610.

Hello guys , I get a weird behaviour with my s300. Have it for quite a few years now , no issues everything worked perfect.
We had a fire in the engine bay , but we replaced everything in terms of wiring and fixed it up (as it was)

We tuned the car open loop works amazing everything is almost spot ...

Just a small update , this is the calibration that was with the datalog. but it happens with other calibrations which the table is smooth , can provide those as well but not sure about the datalog (same behavior though)

Hello guys , I have my b16 swap Ek (Using a conversion harness obd2b to obd1) (no tacho) but rpm signal on the ecu.
Tuned the low map all is well , car is working as it should its strong and smooth.
Same with the vtec smooth out the map (ignition and fuel) and at certain rpms it becomes very rich ...

I just done installing , it reads like from 560~mbar and on , so I ll report back here if the problem persists. Thank you so much!
