Hey all,
Just wondering if there's a way to "test" the boost controller on the Hondata to make sure it's wired correctly. When the car is running and boosting, I can't hear any clicking of sorts because of all the other noises going on. It would be nice to be able to troubleshoot things but running ...

Re: Smanager.exe process problems
Makes sense. I have McAfee so I'll check the settings there.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: Smanager.exe process problems
Ok, I was just able to get it up and running. I had to disable my LAN connections...unplug from wired and turn off wireless. Anyone else have this happen?

Smanager.exe process problems
Hey all. I'm sure this is something to do with my laptop, but I'm wondering if there is a workaround or fix for this. Just yesterday I was running the software with no issues and then today I can't open the Hondata Smanager software. When I double-click the icon, I see the Smanager.exe process kick ...

K100 ecu and no spark!
Hey all. I'm looking for a bit of help on a swap I'm trying to get up and running. I've got a K24 engine in a Del Sol with a K100 chipped PND RSX ECU. I called Hondata's tech support and was told "we don't support the K100 anymore so find a dealer...but by the way, nobody sells those in North ...

So if I have my units set to PSI and it's showing 6PSI at idle, (assuming 14PSI is atmospheric) this is really 8PSI of vacuum or ~16 inches of mercury?Hondata wrote:It depends on the unit - inches and lbs are atmospheric based, everything else is absolute. Double click on the MAP sensor to change the unit.

Absolute or Atmospheric?
I have a simple question about the sensor display readings. If you click on the "Sensors" button on the main window, it pops up a list of all the sensors that the ECU is reading. Under the MAP sensor reading, is the reading for this sensor absolute pressure or is it relative to atmospheric? Thanks ...

Based on the fact that it was working before you woked on the throttle body which contains both the tps and map sensors, it sounds like some improper wiring has damaged the ecu. Can you post a closeup picture of the bottom of the ecu where you soldered it.

Explain this please: Voltage->Pressure conversion
I was reading this thread here posted by Spunkster on the proper method of calculating these voltage-to-pressure conversion numbers:
