no its a virgin ecu. you don't think it could be a socketing issue

an authorized hondata retailer in virginia....i also downloaded the new software from the hondata website and that didnt' work either

i am running a stock p28 ecu and the car runs strong idles fine no problems whatsoever.

please help me i have no clue what to do

its just a stock gsr head, golden eagle conversion kit, timing i'm not sure about stock fuel pump, stock injectors

sorry the ecu is a p28 the calibration is a p72 with the rev limiter at 7600 launch control set at default and everything else stock, the motor is a stock b20 vtec with an intake and exhaust.

i just got a brand new unit and it didn't even run 5 minutes before the check engine light started flashing rapidly and the car sounded like it was missing terribly and loping and then it finally cuts off. i can start the car right back up, it will run fine for a sec and then the same thing.
