So I've tried a new ecu, a new distributor, and ran new wires bypassing the connectors in the car. Tried with the base timing connector jumpered and un-jumpered. Kinda out of ideas now...

Hi there I'm getting a Code 8 TDC hard fault-as in the code comes back immediately. It's a 1990 civic with a B18A1 turbo OBD0 to OBD1 swap PR4 ECU. I've checked the wires from the ECU to the dizzy and they're good and the timing is set. I've also tried a new dizzy. The car will run and drive okay ...
