I also have this start up problem with the s300j. It seems to be more frequent when I updated the latest firmware.

Thanks guys. I took Hondatas advice and touched up all the solder connections and sure enough everything works now...

I installed my s300j today but when i plug in the ecu I get a constant check engine light. Constant Red light from the s300. I can upload calibrations, but I can't datalog, and the car runs very lean. For Ic3, my hondata came shipped with a chip named AC373 instead of HC373... Could this be the ...
