For sure, I am mixing and matching.

I have an ep3- so ep3 wiring. ecu is prb. map is prb-type.

Is there a difference in the sensors between the cars, the sensor driving/reading circuits (the hardware), & behavior between the map uploaded to the ecu?

This might be the root cause of this problem ...

270 injectors was used because it did not need the 310 - i never went lean at 8krpm full throttle. I believe the it only went to around 80% (from what I remember).

So, you are saying that the map sensor reading may also play a part in this. How low can I go(for overrun settings). I can try lower ...

Although I will try your suggestion, I find it odd that the previous version did not behave the same way. I felt this lag the very day I uploaded with this new version.

I have uploaded another datalog.

This time it shows that there is some fuel decrease even though the short trim is small. It has ...

overrun settings are in the attached file. 17-15kpa.
injectors are stock - 270

It seems that the map is around 20kpa when no fuel. Once I tip in, there is fuel, which then makes the engine draw more air and the map drops down crossing some threshold which cuts the fuel. That threshold does not seem ...

fuel cutoff during tip in of throttle

Hi

I have been trying to figure this out for quite some time now. It seems that when I tip in the throttle, there seems to be a threshold which cuts the fuel off and a threshold to allow the fuel to be back on. If I quickly tip in past that threshold, then the transition will seem smooth. I also ...

After switching over to the this version, I have notice a problem.

When accelerating or decelerating, there seems to be a lag.

The datalog shows that around the threshold of closed loop to open loop, the fuel get reduced. It seems to happen 87kpa -> 84kpa.

See the attached datalog (15.5s-16s ...

Thanks for your answering my questions.

Any addition of more detailed documentation(however complex) is welcomed. Off course, there may be questions, but this will allow the users to have a more better understanding in what's happening behind the scenes. I would agree that user friendliness would ...

Looking for documentation & questions

There are some detailed documentation I am looking for which I did not find.

For example, I am looking for expected engine behavior on the overrun fuel cutoff - is there some description on this? Is the RPM values changeable in the software? How does the map work? How does the overrun cuttoff work ...

Thanks but I am not talking about the ignition/fuel/cam map. I am talking about the rpm/map table under the advance tab for fuel overrun.

Anyone have any ideas on this?

fuel overrun map

Under the parameters, under the advance tab, you have the fuel overrun map.

I would like to understand this more better.

How does the engine behave when you alter this? I've noticed the the decel & initial accel behavior altered when touching this. The jerkiness during the decel/accel seems to be ...

I am reviving this thread.

I want to add more requests:

1) be able to export all datalog information to a csv file - For example, the IAT is not exported currently
2) when exporting, why the data is not of the unit set in kpro. For example, the speed is set to mph, but it still dumps out as kmph ...

Because you made them ascii text.
Also because options are not available and trying to do stuff in the meantime.

A question about the overrun cutoff table. Why is it not available for the k20a3(civic, base rsx) maps? It is available for all others, even the d17 engine. Can you add this into kmanager.

there is a bug with 1.2.2.1

When you open a kal with ecutype=1 and right click on the load(map) values to try to change them, you get this error:
"floating point division by zero"

You can open up the civic stock kal to see the problem.
