Re: Wideband closed loop
i dont understand why that option would even be available in the software. kinda sucks i bought a wideband and installed it just for that feature.

Re: Wideband closed loop
I m referring to the engine running in open loop for wideband closed loop control. It doesn’t work. Ecu is not adding or trimming fuel after I tuned it @WOT.
I was assuming that the ecu would add +\- 1% with wideband input into ecu. So basically you are telling me wideband closed loop doesn’t work ...

Re: Wideband closed loop
Primary o2 is still there and enabled. Secondary removed disabled and replaced with the wideband.

Re: Wideband closed loop
Under settings - lambda overlay - overlay input - open loop analog wideband. That’s what I have selected. Under the closed loop setting there is no option for that. Just wideband lambda input. Which imhabe it on egrl - EGR Lift. Am I missing something?

Wideband closed loop
I installed a wideband in the car. wideband output into a egr pin. the ecus sees the wideband. not much offset between the gauge and software. I have tuned the car with the new camshaft. Wideband closed loop doesnt seem to work at WOT. There are a few spots that seem to run a little leaner then i ...

Re: Vtec not disengaging low load/ wideband lambda.
I figured it had something to do with vtec pressure window. Thanks for the help. I will raise the map pressure so it stays off when crusing.Hondata wrote: Tue Aug 13, 2024 8:13 pm Let's pick a point in the middle of the datalog. 4000 rpm MAP 66 kPa.
The VTEC table has 57 kPa (0.572 bar) at 4000. So VTS will be on.

Re: Can’t update flash pro software
That laptop is only used to tune cars. doesnt have a issue with other software updates. there is no anti virus installed on it. had to download the software directly off website to update. no worries its fixed

Re: Vtec not disengaging low load/ wideband lambda.
Here is the calibration and datalog. Vtec engages at its set point then stays engaged at cruising speeds. turns on and never turns off.

I’ll post up very soon. Have to data log it as I think I maxed out the factory injectors

Re: Vtec not disengaging low load/ wideband lambda.
Even with wideband lambda? Why is my car staying in vtec at cruising speeds? 70-80 mph?Hondata wrote: Mon Aug 05, 2024 6:38 am The last reply was from a spam bot.
There's a lot of logic in the ECU which is fixed to target stoichiometric.

Re: Vtec not disengaging low load/ wideband lambda.
I upgraded the camshaft to a delta 272 regrind. Crusing at 75-90 mph the engine stays in vtec low load. What can I control with adding wideband to the ecu? Can I change the Target lambda at cruising and idle to leaner then 14.7?
I changed the vtec window to:
lower 3800 upper 4500
vtec window ...
