Thanks for being cool about the long delay. Things just doesn't align like we would like all the time.
So far the new revision feels relatively similar. Just trying to get touch up on the knocks.
Here's next datalog. My 4th gear pull wasn't as clean as I wanted. I wanted to rev it up to redline ...

Re: New to Flashpro 07 Civic SI w/ AEM CAI V1
Sorry for the long delay for this datalog. Work had been busy and weather had been on and off recently. If I do take awhile again I'm sorry in advance.
After reviewing the datalog the 3rd gear pull had been great. No knocks. 4th gear pull there was knocks still being shown. From what I noticed it ...

Re: New to Flashpro 07 Civic SI w/ AEM CAI V1
I understand it would be good to get this version dialed in so we have something to fall back on. Then play with the higher cam angles and see how they fell. As mentioned the cross over is noticeable. With the sound and the pull feeling. The during the 4th gear pull I could really appreciate the mid ...

Re: New to Flashpro 07 Civic SI w/ AEM CAI V1
The 20* feels pretty good. Feels strong during practical throttle. But it would be great to experience the higher cam angles and see how the car responds to it. I noticed during this tune the transition to vtec was very smooth and it just picked up really quick especially in the mid range. I could ...

Re: New to Flashpro 07 Civic SI w/ AEM CAI V1
I just checked my oil level and it was around the middle of the 2 dots. So oil level wasn't too low. I did poured in 1/3 of a quart and it brought it up to 3/4 between of the 2 dots. So we'll see how it looks like when I do the next datalog.

Re: New to Flashpro 07 Civic SI w/ AEM CAI V1
I'm happy that the car like the 30* cam angle. Is there a big benefit for part throttle between the 15* and 30* if the fuel demand is relatively the same? I would be guessing that the 30* cam angle would pull in a little more air in return would provide more torque and MPGs. I'm really curious how ...

Re: New to Flashpro 07 Civic SI w/ AEM CAI V1
Thanks for putting a screenshot of the fuel demand. I didn't noticed that stock was adjusted that much until I was driving your maps. I was just driving normal and observed my speed was climbing quickly.

Re: New to Flashpro 07 Civic SI w/ AEM CAI V1
I'm really happy that my car really liked the 30* cam. It really did wake the car up a lot in practical throttle and WOT. I noticed it more during regular driving. I don't really press on the throttle as much as before and the power delivery just picks right up. But yeah like what others say, people ...

Re: New to Flashpro 07 Civic SI w/ AEM CAI V1
I surprised that some people would cheap out on these sensors. I've had my fair share on trying to save money on cheap stuff that went good and some bad. Bad to a point where I would of saved more money on buying the quality part the first time.

Re: New to Flashpro 07 Civic SI w/ AEM CAI V1
For sensor, most of time I would go with OEM or a high quality sensor specially if it's vital to the engine. I'm thinking if I should change my wife's 08 civic (non-SI) to see if MPGs get better.

Re: New to Flashpro 07 Civic SI w/ AEM CAI V1
It kinda sucks that a lot more people have the same 02 sensor problem. But like what you said these cars are 10+ years old now and sensors don't last forever specially the ones that goes through a lot of heat.

Re: New to Flashpro 07 Civic SI w/ AEM CAI V1
Sorry for the long wait. I finally was able to get my new primary 02 sensor installed. I'm actually happy that we was able to get this addressed because I would of not known the sensor was not working. Thanks for the great write up, this is my first time actually reading and learning about tuning ...

Re: New to Flashpro 07 Civic SI w/ AEM CAI V1
This sucks. I'm surprise that my primary O2 sensor failed because I never got a CEL. I just ordered an OEM replacement (Denzo) hopefully it will come by the end of the week.
I'm currently using 92 octane which is the highest we have here in Hawaii other than race gas.

Re: New to Flashpro 07 Civic SI w/ AEM CAI V1
Here is my first datalog. I don't mind it being boring at first. But I thought it was different with the Vtec being at a different location and revving up 8600.
After reviewing the data log I think I started WOT at around 3500. Hope it doesn't mess with anything.

Thank you for your time and help.
Since this is my daily driver and I will keep it the same for a long time i rather do it right.
I don't mind taking the long route as long as I can take my car to work.
Please let me know when you're free to help out.
