log done. was about the same fuel level that knock returned so i think finally the crap gas is gone.

okay tomorrow ill do rev 14 again when im up and moving. long day today.

Compression test done all cylinders within 5psi avg 191. pretty good numbers for 185k miles. Iridium plugs my understanding is not to be gaped.

log done. Ran it down to fuel light and refilled again. Knock seems to have disappeared. Going to try and check plugs, wires and compression before work.

Don't be sorry you have spent tons of time on this especially for a stock car. I am appreciative of everything you have done and continue to do. Like you i just want to know the issue and correct it. I will go through everything i can on my side and continue to do the logs. Thanks man!

i understand what knock is and that was probably a dumb question but ive heard the knock sensors are notoriously sensitive and the No.4 has been what has giving the most knocks

could the knock be being caused by an external rattle?

log done. Pushed it a little. lot o knock cylinder 4. thinking there is an issue going to do a compression test. let me know what you think thanks. also noticed some oil burn off over the last oil change was about a qt low......

I agree. It turns out she used my car to take our daughter to school and put about 4 gal in the car when the fuel light was on. I filled up yesterday 9.2 gal have been driving it easy since I made that last log. I will continue to drive easy the top off again and relog. Thanks

wife may have put some gas in the car.....says she put 93. It was a different gas station than I normally use. yeah i saw the knocks go crazy.
