Re: Speed Limit Control

You could consider employing something like the valet mode with a torque limitation, However, It could be argued that this presents greater endangerment if the car isn't able to deliver full power to evade a situation.

This is more of a human question - Do you trust the teenager to drive the car ...

Re: REQUEST: FPM Wiki hosted by Hondata?

I remember Kefi had an FK8 wiki at one point, which did include some good explanations - However, I am not sure if it's still live.

I wouldn't mind hosting such a site, but getting the content is a bit of a challenge...

I do agree that some of the niche features, tables and mods could use a little ...

Re: TCP Streaming

And attaching the TCP Settings...

As a note, I have tried with Single / Multi file and various sample rate settings.

The crash occurs with any IP set, and seems to occur regardless of if the Flashpro is connected or not.

Re: TCP Streaming

Ooops...

First tests haven't gone very well :)

I've had a go at running a TCP stream to Packet Sender (Also a receiver ;) ) on my device, but every time recording is started via the mobile app, there's an immediate crash to home screen.

I've attached the crash dumps that are available - I am ...

TCP Streaming

I was wondering if there was any more technical documentation available on the TCP Streaming functionality for the mobile app?

I've found the Bluetooth technical documents which I suspect cover the packet structure, but a bit of an overview of what setup would be needed to ingest the data, or at ...

Importing Modifications, Using Plugins

I've created a few .FPMOD files for some of the key changes I like to make,

e.g.
Raised idle to reduce RMM Vibration
Adjusted speedometer for 245/40/18 Tyres
Custom AFM Tuning

I may be missing something, but I can't seem to find the "Import" button to get these onto the mod list?

Whilst on that ...

Torque Correction (ECT)

Was just looking through as usual and noticed under the "Torque" Tab of the calibration there is a "Torque Correction (ECT)" Table which I don't remember having seen.

I've had a look through the documentation / forum but haven't been able to find any notes on this (Possibly my ignorance!)

https ...

Re: P0303 Misfire with Hondata TC Activation?

I had a hunch; Turns out there was standing water (!!!) the depth of the spark plug in Cyl 2 & 3 - Novel, as it hasn't been washed / engine bay washed etc, silicone on the spark seals etc.

(Definitely rain water as well, I had a little taste after pumping it out :D )

Pumped it out, dried the coils ...

P0303 Misfire with Hondata TC Activation?

Did a quick WOT on some known slippery pavement and popped a P0303, Coils & plugs were serviced not so long ago - Just wondering if it's possible that the TC Activation may have triggered the code?

Re: Auto start/stop problem

Further update; I reflashed using the US 93Oct + Intercooler base map with a few tweaks, including the idle speed tweak I'd originally attempted and everything is now resolved - No more flashing lights, and the auto stop start system is confirmed as functional.

Seems that original calibration file ...

Re: Auto start/stop problem

I've just experienced this; Sent feedback via Hondata as suggested but thought I'd post here as well so I can get the rest of the datalogs and information out in the open.

I did initially think it may have been an issue with changing the idle speed table at an estimate, but returned that to ...

Adjusting cornering compensation for wheel offset

How would one go about calculating the compensation % to apply to reflect the change in track width of fitting ET35 Wheels?

Catching up! Undocumented features?

I've just installed the latest version after having left things alone for a while and I've noticed a few new things that haven't been in patch notes that I've seen.

Firstly, Idle speed control for the FK8 - Super, I was hoping to adjust this to compensate for the engine mount - I understand the ECT ...
