Re: Strange AFR Readings While Decel and During Shift
Hi, I'm new to tuning, I have a 03 rsx k20a3, full bolt-ons. PLM RH, HKS hi-flow full exhaust 2.5, TSX 310cc injectors, injen short ram intake, RBC IM etc...how did the calibration for the IM turn out?
Still working on it. Although this is simply a calibration for PNF based cars to use a PRB ...

Re: D16z6 vtec .050 Vitara Turbo Base Map
Managed to find injector data if anyone is interested in getting a base map set up.

D16z6 vtec .050 Vitara Turbo Base Map
Picked up this build recently, installed the s300 and pwm boost control. It was just socketed with a manual boost controller. I basically just copied the build sheet from what I was given. Just need a base map to get it running, but I am having a heck of a time finding data for these injectors, and ...

Re: Strange AFR Readings While Decel and During Shift
Anythign relating to fuel will be different.
Great, I can deal with fuel tables. I bet that is the source of the knock then. Once I get it dialed real good, is it possible to get this out to the community as an option for guys with a k20a3 who want to run a PRB calibration?
Also, would it be ...

Re: Strange AFR Readings While Decel and During Shift
The values are interpreted differently from the fuel tables, so you cannot just import the tables from one to the other. It will need to be properly tuned.
Got it. That is what I was wondering. I figured there would be some differences, but wasn't sure what. Is it only the fuel tables that are ...

Re: Strange AFR Readings While Decel and During Shift
Its normal for the fuel injectors to shut off when decelerating and for it to show lean readings.
You need to determine if it is timing related that is causing the knock, or if it is something rattling that is causing it.
Ok, so the very lean readings are normal. What about the extremely rich ...

Re: Strange AFR Readings While Decel and During Shift
Also - I noticed when using the PNF calibration I never ever recorded a single knock event and now with the PRB calibration it counts up to 100 or more by one city block. I do have poly engine mounts, not sure if that is the issue.

Strange AFR Readings While Decel and During Shift
This is a short log file from a base map I just finished up NOT tuned yet. Car runs and drives good, seems to be safe. No ignition retard, AFR is at least safe - although not always at my target which is OK for now until I tune it. Before I tune it, I was just doing some data logs to verify base ...

Re: Target Lambda Tables
Right, I am working on setting up a PRB based calibration to use. I am new to this and did not know if a PRB calibration could be used on a PNF ecu.Spunkster wrote: Fri Jun 18, 2021 10:25 am We have been over this. You must use a PRB based calibration to use these tables.

Re: Target Lambda Tables
You can enable target lambda tables for the low and high cam in the closed loop advanced tab.
That option is not selectable for me. I think that's because I am using a PNF calibration. But I could be wrong and there is something else that needs to be turned on to access those tables. See the ...

Re: Target Lambda Tables
You should get it tuned as close as possible to where you want it in open loop, and then you can enable closed loop when done. You should not rely on closed loop to essentially tune the vehicle for places it runs to rich or too lean.
Thanks for working on this with me. I feel like I have done ...

Re: Target Lambda Tables
You have full control over the fuel tables and can make any adjustments needed.
Right, understand the fuel adjustment aspect of KPro tuning. I'm just hung up on target lambda values. I know I could run in open loop all the time and just adjust the fueling to match what I want, but that would ...

Re: Target Lambda Tables
It will have to be properly tuned with the PRB based calibration.
Not a problem, as long as I can effectively use a PRB based calibration without issues.
While I work at building a base map for my setup based on the PRB, is there any way to adjust the target AFR with the PNF calibration? It's ...

Thanks for the help! It is indeed a PNF. Can I use a PRB map with the PNF ecu safely?Hondata wrote: Mon Jun 14, 2021 7:45 am What ECU are you using? The target lambda is not available for the PNF, which I suspect is the ECU you are using.

Target Lambda Tables
Hello, I have searched this forum and the web for an answer and so far have not found a solution. Not sure if I am looking in the wrong place or just missing it, but hopefully you all can help me out.
