Sounds like a job for an automotive relay and the nitrous control panel or a type-s manifold and k20a3 ep3 calibration.
Correct me if I'm wrong hondata, but couldn't he just use the nitrous control panel to trigger a relay to switch the manifold runner some how -- I'm not familliar with the system ...

K-Pro is K-Pro, but to operate the secondary runners and not receive the error you will need to use a PND ecu which is for the base model. You can load the Civic SI calibration and that will not generate the error, but you also will not have the secondary runners functioning.

I have just installed a Civic SI (EP3) ecu with Kpro in my base RSX, and have a problem.
After uploading the BASE RSX 91 Octane cal (or any other base rsx cal), the CEL light turns on, and I receive the following code:
