Re: Autotune vs active fuel tuning

Will try this again....

I'm trying to get the ecu to follow a modified low fuel table and the only way i could do this was by adding 15.3 in all the closed loop targets(calibration tab-Lambda) , then it followed the target lambda table . I tuned it with STFT's set to 0, then after put back to ...

Re: Autotune vs active fuel tuning

Does anyone have some input whether or not you can lean out a specific section (as in picture) of low speed fuel without the ECU compensating or fixing itself at 14.7 AFR?

Re: Autotune vs active fuel tuning

So there is no way to trim some fuel at highway speed while cruising??
Can you just run open loop and the ecu will follow the target lambda tables, or is there another way to make it follow a customized AFR table at low speed?
And if so how...?

Re: Autotune vs active fuel tuning

Id be happy just knowing how to make the vehicle follow the low and high target lambda tables ive adjusted instead of just the set closed loop target 14.7 AFCMD all the time in low fuel (screenshot), it follows the WOT tables no problem when edited but AFCMD never changes until the WOT tables.
Not ...

Autotune vs active fuel tuning

Few questions all at once:

1.Just wondering what is the difference between autotune and active fuel tuning??
I can get the autotune to work (control+t), but I can’t get the active fuel tuning to work....I’ve uploaded the calibration file to the vehicle after activating active tuning, then tried to ...

Re: Map sensor vs mBar reading

so a 900mBar reading at 50% throttle is normal @ 18:06 on the datalog (would be same as 100% throttle...), amongst the other 700mBar and higher readings at 20% throttle?

Also should the big dips in the fuel curves be smoothed out even though it goes against suggested lambda adjustments??

Re: Map sensor vs mBar reading

ok, attached is the calibration file and a datalog.

im hitting 900mBar @ like 50% throttle.
if you look at the fuel maps the 800+ mBar curves seem really high on some cam angles, compared to the lesser....
Also, what is with the symmetrical dips in the fuel curves within the same cam angle maps ...

Map sensor vs mBar reading

Watching my datalogs, and no matter at what road speed it seems, with only about 25-30% throttle I’m getting about 800 mBar MAP sensor readings and easily going WOT.
Any ideas? Bad sensor or plugged exhaust maybe?

Re: WOT lambda tables

You're only changing one cell in one cam angle table and the fuel table has just a big spike in it. If you look at the datalog the ECU is using more of the 20 degree table than the 30 degree table and the 20 degree table only has about 70% of the fuel of the 30 degree table.

i am watching the ...

Re: WOT lambda tables

I’m pretty new at this, just got the Hondata a few weeks ago.
Basically all I’ve been doing is started with some datalogs of normal driving then adjusted the fuel tables. Then a datalog of a pull in 3rd, then adjusted fuel tables, then a few datalogs of 4th gear pulls, then adjusted fuel tables etc ...

thanks for your help.

WOT lambda tables

I’ve tried a couple different base maps (k&n sri, and fugita Sri) and no matter how much fuel I add to the high or low fuel table as suggested by the flashpro I never seem to achieve the wot lambda table values, especially in the fugita setup which are set in the wot lambda tables at 11.27 (Not sure ...

Calibration difference?

I own a 2006 civic SI FG2 and just realized I was using a base map tune for Civic SI 2007-2011 US/CANADA, instead of choosing the 2006 US/Canada in the vehicle selection. Is there any difference?
