Re: Jerky car at low speeds/loads
It may be the fueling as it is showing quite high short term fuel trims. Without a wideband it is not possible to see what the actual AF is reading.
Would checking "Disable fuel over-run cutoff delay" help? (Read it in and old post here)
Is it safe to check "Disable ignition retard when the ...

Re: Jerky car at low speeds/loads
Without a datalog showing the issue it is hard to say what it could be.
See attached. The manoeuvre is in second gear >2000rpm, then throttle off down to 1000-1200rpm, then slowly back on the throttle. Its most obvious here but I can also feel it in higher gears. Seems most obvious after a ...

Jerky car at low speeds/loads
Hi
I have a k20a in a Lotus. It was recently rebuilt to N/A and dyno tuned based of the std setting. The tuning did not solve a strong hesitation at low gears and low load but that was solved with the "Tip in retard gear multiplier". Now the car 'only' has a jerk at load loads. It can really get ...

Re: Turn off purge didn't work
Hey guy's
Sorry for the late reply. Just got the car out for spring and all is working.
So deselecting "purge" only turns the function off.
Deselecting "Enable Sec O2, FTP, PA, ELD" then did the trick to avoid error codes.
Now the EVAP solenoid is gone.
Thx.

Re: Turn off purge didn't work
There's a difference between disabling operation of the purge system and disabling the purge system. The software only does the first. I'd keep the purge operational and vent the fuel tank through a charcoal canister to the engine via the purge.

Re: Turn off purge didn't work
This engine was moved to a Lotus. But It's standing on its own. Not hooked up to any Lotus related electronics (It doesn't have any)
Ok, I will try find a solution.

Hi
Im running a Honda k20 in a Lotus Exige.
Lately the evap purge solenoid started making a noice and since it's not hosed up anymore I wanted to remove it. So I hooked up the laptop, found my calibration file, deselected purge and flashed it.
