SOLUTION:
I found a couple frayed wires a couple inches back from the ecu connectors causing a 5v short to ground. When I disconnected the ecu and pulled the connectors to look at them it would move the 5v wire away from the ground. Because of the ecu's location I couldn't get a probe behind it ...

Re: About the relationship between ELD and your MAP sensor reading
Do you know of any available engine harness diagrams? I have not been able to find any for the Si. I lost my tach signal as well, so I'm thinking maybe all these sensors are on the same circuit with a short somewhere. But I can't confirm anything without pulling the entire harness apart.

Re: About the relationship between ELD and your MAP sensor reading
Today I looked into the 5v ref circuit on ecu connector c. Got some weird results. I found 5v at vcc3 from the tps connector, but nothing from vcc1 at the map sensor. I pulled the wires out of the ecu connector and put in an already cut wire so I can check the signals directly and be sure there's no ...

About the relationship between ELD and your MAP sensor reading
I am having an issue with the map sensor displaying the maximum available pressure, no matter the voltage input.
A quick description of how the problem started. I was switching the wideband signal from ELD to EGRL, because the wideband would only read as rich as 11.97 even though the gauge can ...

Re: Another No CEL no VTEC
That's what I was thinking this morning. I tried the thicker oil with no change. Problem is I don't know anyone with another Si whos willing to let me mess with it. It is pretty high mileage, maybe physical damage in the ecu.

Re: Another No CEL no VTEC
Yes I’ve tried all the way to 7000 and the same problem comes up.
When I first turbo’d the car I had the stock map sensor in it for a few weeks and no difference.
Also, any ideas are helpful. I’m thinking this has got to be something obvious that I’m just missing.
Thanks.

Re: Another No CEL no VTEC
In the 0.3 datalog, TPedal is about 80% from 16-18 seconds, then goes to 87% at 4523 rpm. Thats where it hit the wall and pushed me forward in the seat. Right after that is when I let off. Looks like TPlate stays open until then as well.

Re: Another No CEL no VTEC
I don't think this is necessarily the issue, but have you adjusted the vtec window pressures? Looking at your calibration, you have them set 25% higher than a Hondata turbo file for 8th gens. Granted you appear to be reaching this threshold, but for the sake of testing you should lower that value ...

Another No CEL no VTEC
Yes ive read all the other no cel no vtec posts.
08 Si, turbo car.
Like the title says, no cel no vtec. I take logs of pulls trying to get into vtec, VTS comes on and it switches to vtec tables but hits a limiter of some kind. I checked the wires to the solenoid, theyre fine, put a brand new ...

Hey, new to this forum if this has been covered before let me know.
I recently turbo'd my 8th gen, all was running fine then code p2128 comes up. APP sensor E voltage high. I put a new APP sensor in it, didnt help. Looking at the live data while the car is idling, when I step on the throttle the ...
