Tune is a Pro tune from FK8TD, so it is a locked calibration file. I believe John has also reached out to you and the team.

Re: Error in gear selection reading on Hondata display

Hey Spunkster,

The car is FBO with fully built engine and PPG transmission.

I have had this setup with previous setups and the gear selector was reading just fine.

This seems to be effecting how boost control hits when it says it is in 5th when it is in 4th according to my tuner John P from ...

Error in gear selection reading on Hondata display

Hi Hondata team,

Since the most recent software update, I have noticed there is some sort of glitch in Hondata in seeing and showing correct Gear 4.

What happens is and on a few logs I have recorded, I have car in 4th gear and it registers or shows I am in Gear 5, even though the cluster is ...

Got it , Thank you, it has a custom tune for it. Just didn’t know if there was a base map selection from Hondata which was missing.

Re: Bought new PCM for my FK8

Did you return the original ECU to stock and unlock the FlashPro from it?

The new ECU will have to be jailbroken to be able to use it as well.

What is the ECU part number?

I did not return to stock and unlock it from the original stock ecu.

Will do that and report back, Thanks.

The new ...

Bought new PCM for my FK8

Hello Hondata,

I had an internal issue with my ecu and needed to order a new ecu for my FK8.

After programming new ecu to vehicle, I tried to flash it with my flashpro, but it would not work.

Do I need to jailbreak this new ecu, even though it has my vehicles vin number?

I noticed the new ecu ...

Re: Traction Control Not Working

Have you tried messing with the slip control % on traction control section, I know for me it was the issue and I played around with that so a number which worked for me. Also did you select to cut torque in 1st and 2nd gear ? That should help some and if still too much then reducing torque request ...
