I'd say it happens in ~95% right after plugin.
Sometimes (in ~5%) it doesn't start blinking immediately after plugin and I have a chance to try to download logs or update "register" information, but usually right after that operations the FlashPro starts blinking :(

The fact that I cannot register my FlashPro is show-stopper. Because I cannot upload new calibrations, as result the whole tuning process of my honda stuck.
For me (professional software developer) this undetermined behaviour of FlashPro looks like memory corruption.

I have absolutely the same problem with flash-pro for civic si/fn2.
In addition today my FlashPro becomes unregistered and there is no way to register it again.

Also when I connect FlashPro to laptop it randomly turn on/off the lights, see here
