Re: H23a Vtec Basemap and Final Tune
I would recommend discussing this with a tuner as they will be able to best answer this based on your setup and goals.
I set it up with closed loop (target lambda) for now, also I changed the voltage offset to where its accurate with my wideband gauge. Car seems a lot more responsive. I'm gonna ...

I know of one he does street tunes, he wanted me to leave my car for him to tune it. I cannot do that tho cuz I have no ride back to my house. Its a 40 minute drive.

Re: H23a Vtec Basemap and Final Tune
It will read fully lean upon deceleration and when the throttle is closed and not idling.
Oh. That's good to know. So how do I get the maps right? Hate to ask. And would you run a cat or a test pipe? My fuel pressure is 35psi at idle is that good? In what way does fuel pressure effect the tune ...

Re: H23a Vtec Basemap and Final Tune
Have you removed the resistors listed at: http://www.hondata.com/help/smanager/widebandlambdaparameters.htm?zoom_highlightsub=wideband
I went for a short drive and recorded the results. I am really short sighted though with this. The wideband was doing great but it would sometimes go to 22.4 ...

I did. Im gonna try and do an "open air" calibration. The Bluetooth readings on my phone also had the o2 sensor going bonkers, would not stay in one place. The ...

Re: H23a Vtec Basemap and Final Tune
The details for connecting the wideband can be found at: http://www.hondata.com/help/smanager/widebandlambdaparameters.htm?zoom_highlightsub=wideband
I calibrated it and went for a test drive, it helped the gauge a little but it was still going nuts. Idk what I'm gonna do maybe I have a exhaust ...

I just connected the wideband and set it up according to Xenocromes guide, using the D10 wire for the ECU side, and severing the side of that ...

Re: H23a Vtec Basemap and Final Tune
The s300 board was just loose someone said that could happen on the forums. I fixed the USB connection problem. I didn't try the bluetooth but I imagine that also was the problem too.
On a second note I bought the Innovate MTX 3918 and I'm confused as to how to wire it to the ECU so that I can use ...

Re: H23a Vtec Basemap and Final Tune
Ok thank you.
I bought a Phearable.net calibration file for the s300 and it seemed to be a good map however I am having trouble using my USB data cable and also my bluetooth only connects sometimes. The USB driver is not being recognized by Windows when I plug in the s300, but it does work when i ...

Re: H23a Vtec Basemap and Final Tune
YOu can use the analog signal from the wideband controller and input it into one of the ECU inputs(I recommend D10). This will allow you to run closed loop from the wideband.

Re: H23a Vtec Basemap and Final Tune
Like spunkster said you can not expect to have a well running car from tunes made for other engines. What tune was the car running on the chip prior to running Hondata?
Changing the injector flow rate can help the car run better but the timing and fuel will still need modification.
In regards ...

H23a Vtec Basemap and Final Tune
Hey i'm new does anyone have any idea how to get a stock (with bolt ons) H23a blue top (Vtec) tuned with Hondata s300 without having to pay somone to do it for you? So far I've tried a tuned H22 basemap, a HaMotorsports basemap, a updated fuel injector map, and a stock H22 map, each of these maps ...
