Hondata folks .
Question:
So the dyno results for 91, 93, 100, E25 are all >480nm (~354ftlb) yet in all of those basemaps, you have the top torque limit at 480nm...that's a bit deceiving no? The sales pitch is the dyno charts...implying this is what you get with a basemap.
Why was the limit of ...

Re: +9psi CVT Sport Touring (10th GEN) Hatch Map
Yes, same engine and generation...theoretically it should work with all 10th gen 1.5t CVT civics...but for whatever reason, hondata limits the maps to that specific car model.

+9psi CVT Sport Touring (10th GEN) Hatch Map
Look. I'm willing and financially capable of replacing my CVT, so no issues there. So use at your own risk.
That caveat stated (it needs to be) I've been running this tune for over a year and just beat on it...no issues ( NOT POWER BRAKING , Just Pounding the throttle). Limit is ~320nm/~236 Ft/Lb ...

Re: Start in "Comfort" mode?
Sorry, not going to happen without a lot of work. The method to set the initial mode can only choose between one of two values (sport and +R). Why not change it so it can choose between sport and comfort or sport and +R? Because that is not two options but a mash of 2x2 and would involve adding a ...

Re: Start in "Comfort" mode?
This is not an option, as most people never use comfort mode because it has not power and is miserable to drive in. All you have to do is start the car and put it into comfort mode if you want to.
Hi Spunkster, I think that is your personal opinion, and I respect that. But I personally know ...

Start in "Comfort" mode?
I've searched this specific forum a couple of times looking for the keyword "Comfort" and I really am surprised this hasn't already been requested. Since the "Start in +R mode" feature is there, can we get a "Start in comfort mode" as well? If not, what are the limitations? Seems like if you can get ...

Re: 2020 FK8 Flashpro jailbreak status 'unknown'
On the 2020 FK8 the jailbreak status cannot be determined. That's why the instant jailbreak is not available.
Hondata: Is this still an issue with the 2020's and the new "jailbreaker" method? Mine said "Jailbroken" when I bypassed the CAN and performed the jailbreak process. However, it shows ...

Re: 93oct 1st 2nd Reduced Torque Option
In the image that you posted torque is reduced in 2nd gear.
Okay, technically, that is correct...for a given TPS/RPM range. But at 100% TPS (again by RPM I see it now)? Its increased over stock, the exception being in "comfort" mode. That is what "threw" me there. (Actually > stock torque for a ...

Re: 93oct 1st 2nd Reduced Torque Option
Stock torque tables have more torque in first gear than any tire can handle.
You want to torque tables to be close to what the tires are capable of and then use traction control to tweak the output. Otherwise the TC can only limit the torque so much with spark and then the factory VSA will kick ...

93oct 1st 2nd Reduced Torque Option
Hey Folks, I have my FK8 US FPro on the way. Just looking into the 93 Octane cal.
93OCT_ITR_1st_2nd.jpg
States that "all modes reduced torque in 1st and 2nd". It would appear that is only true for first gear? I've just compared the stock vs 93 octane with improved throttle response options ...

Re: +6 Base Cal 1.5T CVT Subtle "surging" while under acceleration
Hello, yes by following the steps in this thread in terms of disabling VSA in the calibration and additionally (and unfortunately) manually using the button, it significantly reduces the surging issue. I can't say its 100%, but it is definitely noticeable. I believe it is present for others too ...

Thanks arnoldod! So I take it you are running the final tune with the 300nm torque? That said, any issues/concerns?arnoldod wrote: Mon Aug 17, 2020 10:11 pm Fuel Lean Best Torque, WOT Lambda Adjustments, Knock ignition limit (KIL), Rev Limits, AFM, TC Maximum Pressure Ratio (TCMPR), and torque limiter curve.

Here's the latest dyno sheet.

This is torque table from my calibration:

The way the entire ECU logic and wastegate calculate torque is different vs. dyno. We can set TCMPR very high, 2.7 bar, for example ...

Re: +6 Base Cal 1.5T CVT Subtle "surging" while under acceleration
Disabling VSA in software disables VSA, pressing the button turns off traction control
Thanks, makes sense...but interesting the button doesn't just do both anyways. I have read that using the button alone only disables part of VSA...so it must have always just been TC.
No there is no way to ...
