Re: KManager V1.4.5.6 Beta

WOT fuel compensation and catalyst protection tables ...do they work for PRA ECU (European Civic Type R)?

When "use stock knock control logic" is enabled, which values are taken from the knock tables under boost conditions? ...there are no boost columns, so I guess the ECU uses column 10 values ...

To match the EGT that you see in the PLX gauge with the EGT that is displayed in the KManager, you could put a voltage offset or alter the values in the wideband input conversion table (KManager - options - settings).

Low load means part throttle and idle, High load means wide open throttle
i think hondata defines map rows 1-6 as low and 7-10 as high.

I'm still confused on how the ECU calculates the load: does it depends on RPM or MAP or TPS or a combination of them?
What is the load value used by the ECU to ...

Retard means the oposite of advance, meaning taking away.

So, considering the high load ignition compensation table in the picture, am I taking away 0 degrees of timing @ 30C IAT, 5.25 degrees of timing @ 55C IAT and 10.75 degree of timing @ 80C IAT? Is that correct?

Low load means part ...

Air temp compensation tables

Hi,

in Parameters/Temp Compensation there is a table for ignition compensation vs air temperature and load.
I'd like to know the definition of:
- Retard (IGN degrees pulled off?)
- low load (rpm, MAP value)
- high load (rpm, MAP value)
I had a look to the help, but I couldn't find an exhaustive ...

It seems that the IGN value fluctuates more when TPS goes to zero.

Does it happen also with other ECUs like PRB, PRC?

Hondata, can you please tell me if this is something to worry about?

Thanks

I did it, but this didn't solve the problem. Any other ideas?
Thanks

IGN issue

Hi,

It seems that sometimes the IGN value does match with the IGN value that is in the calibration file (see picture).
Any idea on what is causing this?

Nitrous on/off vs gears

I own a turbocharged European Civic Type R with a PRA ECU and KPRO.
I’m using boost vs rpm vs gear to control the torque of my motor and reduce wheelspin during hard accelerations. This feature works quite well, but of course I cannot decrease the boost to a value lower than the wastegate spring.
In ...
