Re: Crank sensor error
Just tested the voltage my ecu is getting from the crankshaft sensor. Looks like 4v. Is that normal or am I getting an incorrect reading? From what I read it should vary between 1-5v but I didn't see any variance.
Sorry for so many repeat posts. I'm actively diagnosing as I write this. Turns ...

Re: Crank sensor error
Just to express the troubleshooting I've done.
I have the following:
No continuity with the vehicle off between any of the 3 wires
Continuty to the ecu for the signal wire
If you're looking into the vehicle I have a low voltage only when the car is on for the top wire
Ground middle wire
12v with ...

Re: Crank sensor error
So I bought a sensor, put it in. It worked. Revved all the way up, drove the car and had some other issue. Went to fix the other issue and all of the sudden I no longer can rev our. I've hit an issue again with the crank sensor code. Not sure what to do at this point, I've got 12v ground and signal ...

Re: Crank sensor error
I guess I should mention,
I kept trying to depin on another harness that I had to no success so I wound up soldiering the wires in the harness vs repinning into a spare connector. Would that cause issues? I tested for 12, ground, and signal where the diagrams states they should be for k24s several ...

Re: Crank sensor error
Thank you sir! I will keep this thread updated and see. I'm using a k24 crank hence why I used a k24 sensor but I will give a k20 sensor a shot. Should I wire it using the rsx wiring pattern or just wire it using the k24 one I have soldiered in now? I figured if you aren't sure I'd just use the one ...

Re: Crank sensor error
Just to think out loud, please let me know if this thought is correct.
Since I have an automatic rsx ecu, and I have a tsx engine I might have to use an rsx sensor? Or will I have to switch the pins to be the rsx pinout again? Or will I need a different cars sensor?

Crank sensor error
I am getting a crank sensor code, I've confirmed I was getting signal but I am not having success with new sensors either.
Current set up:
96 civic hatch
Kpro on a PND-A55 ecu
TSX ckp sensor
K24a2 with accord 5 speed manual transmission
I'm wondering if anyone has ever ran into this and if so ...

KPro compatibility question
Hi, so i was looking into buying a Kpro already chipped and one that is available to me is a k20a kpro, my question is are these cross compatible with a k24a2? This is going to be my first swap and I'm unsure about the compatibility there.
