i fixed it...


raised the target idle to 900 rpm and reduced the duty cycle on the IAC valve.

btw this is pills_PMD.. i juts happen to be using a friends computer.

here are two thoughts i have on curing this, what do you guys think :

1. up the fuel pressure a couple notches.

2. up the #'s on the fuel map a tad till the detonation goes away ?

or is it a bit more complicated then this ?

I put 94 octain in her today and she only seems to detonate in 4th and ...

I adjusted the Fuel map for the 8psi and rc440's, but im guessing that i may have not adjusted it correctly because my engine is constantly detonating :?: , im breaking the cermics off my spark plugs too and im afraid of blowing ...

can someone give me some basic information about tuning?? i recently purchased a stage 4 and a pocket programmer and i am new to this whole thing.. what are safe values to enter for fuel / ignition??

if i start with a base p28 map... is there a + / - % tolerance that i should stay in to be safe ...

pills , i think that u gave my sol the surge desease the other day cuz now my sol is surgin, not bad and not too often, but it does, only about a 500rpm though it serges threw. no biggie
