Re: 2012 SI Calibration Help

There is more load on the engine with the A/C on, but I always aim for zero knock in any scenario. I'm guessing they happened in 6th gear. A few knock on a drive is considered fine, but I aim for zero as because the power difference between just enough timing versus a little too much is very small ...

Re: 2012 SI Calibration Help

Ok I tried to send it email but its to large for that also. Its about hour 15 mins long but the knocks happened again right after I started the log so I think they were in lower gears between stop lights. I don't know if there is a way to trim the file down? I can also do another log with the A/C ...

Re: 2012 SI Calibration Help

Everything has still been good no knocks. However today on the way home I turned my a/c on and was fine on the highway for couple hours just fine. one I exited the highway after the red light I noticed I had 3 knocks, and I don't drive it hard with the /ac on. So I started a datalog for the rest of ...

Re: 2012 SI Calibration Help

I agree. I was going to say it seems like it doesn't like the FTS. I am fine not having it, I don't go drag racing so I really don't need it. I will go back to 14.2 and do one good log.

Re: 2012 SI Calibration Help

0k, will try it out in the morning, its raining right now. But should the full throttle shifting engage as long as the clutch is pushed in and the rpms are below 6000 at full throttle and not engage if the clutch is pushed in after 6000?

Re: 2012 SI Calibration Help

OK, That felt smoother for sure. And I like that flat foot shifting. But should the limiter be moved up?

I had about half tank of gas. I just filled up at QT this morning so hopefully that will help.
