Re: Cranking, but no start

No, but I tried a stock P72 and got the same results.

Re: Cranking, but no start

Yes. The cam gears are in time with the crank. Again, the car ran perfectly before putting it on Jack stands for 3 months. Then this issue arose.

Cranking, but no start

Good afternoon.... So bear with me, as I try to explain my situation as clear and precise as possible. The engine is a stock b20vtec, GSR head, stock intake manifold, stock exhaust manifold, stock cams, stock injectors, stock p72 distributor, NGK plug wires, stock everything. It is running on a S300 ...

TPS and Injector duty fluctuating at WOT

I recently noticed via Datalogs, that my TPS sensor is fluctuating under WOT. It reads zero when closed and 101 when wide open. When logging pulls it reads 100% until 5500, then it starts falling and fluctuating between 89-100. The injector duty also starts to fluctuate. The battery volts start to ...

Inconsistent AFR’s at idle

I have been experiencing this issue since day one with the Hondata. I can get the fuel spot on at idle (14.7) with the car at full operating temperature, and zero corrections, neither timing or fuel comps. I drive the car for a bit, then come to a stop and once the engine is back at idle, the ...

Re: Closed Loop Malfunction

Thank you Spunkster and everyone else who has contributed to this thread. I was watching PFi speed on YouTube and they we’re having an issue with the computer/ECU freezing up, and it was due to the spark plugs being non resistant. I’m wondering if this could be the case here? I’m running NGK BKR7E ...

Re: Closed Loop Malfunction

I have finally had the time to get a log of when the S.trim stops working while in Closed Loop. I will post up the log, as well as the calibration that I am using. Some times it will work for 30 plus minutes, other times, it will stop working within 5 minutes of driving. I am using the d10 pin, and ...

Re: Closed Loop Malfunction

I want to keep this thread alive. I haven’t had the opportunity to date a log a scenario when it stops working in closed loop, just have not had time to do it. As soon as I have the time, I will, and post up the data log and calibration file. I really wanna get to the bottom of this, because driving ...

Re: Closed Loop Malfunction

Understandable. It seems to work while in Open loop and my AFR’s are solid and consistent, so I will just run it as it.

Re: Closed Loop Malfunction

I too am having the same exact problem, and in fact posted about it last week. Not sure how to resolve it either. My fuel trims are perfect, and I don’t have a problem when in Open Loop. I will try to post calibration and a log of when mine happens. Hopefully we can all get to the bottom of this.

Re: Help with short and long term fuel trims

The AEM reads an AFR if it’s in open or closed loop. It continues to read even when the S. term Trim stops showing corrections. When it is in Closed loop and the S. term trim is showing corrections, the AEM reads very quickly and the AFR’s swing from 14.4-15.0 back and forth back and forth. Then ...

Re: Help with short and long term fuel trims

Here is my latest Calibration. I do not have a data log to go with it to show the short term trim stop working. I can get that tomorrow.
