DE5 Fl5 Reason pops and bangs are not working and feature request

I noticed during tuning that my customer's DE5 pops and bangs didn't work even on the factory Integra settings. The reason is the chart is tracking idle area only and when I put negative timing in the idle area of the pops and bangs, they began to work again.

Also please there has to be a way to ...

Torque structure enabled setting

I see you have a button under DE5 and FL5 torque structure enabled. Is there a reason this is not available on FK8 ?

Re: 4.5.3 Issues Boost command 6500 rpm and up, No boost after flash and idle cam table causing surging.

With all due respect this is a pro calibration I am not posting this calibration. I own fk8td and we can talk on the phone if you want. Here is the other car where the vct is totally unresponsive and has zero codes. 4.5.3 has made his car just about undrivable. Here is the log. Nothing changed but 4 ...

4.5.3 Issues Boost command 6500 rpm and up, No boost after flash and idle cam table causing surging.

Please see 8:41 in the time on the log for the first issue below

First issue is FK8 FL5 and DE5 cutting boost to lower value at 6500 rpm to redline log included shows this happening. I have noticed that sometimes different cam timing will alleviate the boost issue but makes the tune sub optimal. I ...

Boost limited based upon ignition timing

Before I start the ignition timing I say here only applies to ported head vehicles. So anyone reading this do NOT try to put this much ignition timing into a stock port head you’ll kill the engine.

I’m having some sort of limit from some calculation in the background. This is in Fk8 vehicles ...

Re: Wastegate positions and wastegate flow tables

Forgive my ignorance in advance please. If the data is full how were the air charge data tables added?
Is there a possible way to refer to the table other than the word “quatio”
Probably a different word but is cut off in my screen on the wastegate position table.
I understand the values being 0-1 ...

Re: Idle fuel pressure tables for DE5 and Fl5

Somewhere between 75-80 bar at idle the regular tables kick in immediately as soon as you touch the throttle. I need to be able to set to at least as low as 25 bar for proper idle operation using 2000cc

Wastegate positions and wastegate flow tables

Is there anyway to add table tracking the wastegate controls in the wastegate position and wastegate flow tables on FK8 DE5 Fl5?
Adjusting these tables to prevent throttle plate closures, under boosting, over boosting on larger turbos is more complicated because there is no references back to the ...

Idle fuel pressure tables for DE5 and Fl5

Hell this is John from www.fk8td.com
Can we please have idle fuel pressure tables for DE5 integra type s and FL5 type r
Larger injectors need lower idle fuel pressure to run better.
2000cc running at 1000 psi brings the injector pulse width down to .5ms on 50 percent ethanol and even lower on gas ...

Can we add these features for Fk8

Hello my name is John from FK8td.com
Doug suggested I post these requests here.

Individual ignition timing by cylinder offset
If it was available could possibly tune with a bit more power and more reliably. I’ve seen in building and tuning them that the cylinder head the flow on ports 1 and 4 are ...

Software Tables For electronic wastegate control

Hello my name is John and I am the owner of Fk8 Tuning and Development. I am messaging here because Doug suggested that this would be a more direct way of contacting the software team.
I currently have the 2018 Civic Type R that just made 757whp. However due to the nature of the hood exit exhaust ...

Re: MAF scaling question

I don’t think you understand what I’m asking. I’m not asking about trims at all. It only has to do with afm values.

If you select the afm tab the values in the original 93 octane full race tune are corrected for the 3.5” maf housing.

In the hondata fuel system full race tune the afm tab values ...
