I was under the impression that it was running on 93 already. Did you change to a different calibration?

Hey guys I’m new to Hondata, I recently bought a 2014 si and installed a DC short Ram intake and Skunk2 ... exhaust. I ran the base map calibration tune on my car, but after 15 mins driving I got an engine code for “System Running too Lean”. Has anyone else had this issue? I don’t want to mess the ...

Post the Calibration you are running and a datalog. I can look it over and let you know where changes need to be made.

The trims are ok, but you have 16 counts of knock. The logs do not show when they occurred, but the count is displayed in the WOT log. Also, the car is running rich at WOT.

I suggest you reduce timing where knock is occurring and lean the fuel at WOT.

I don’t know I’m getting it off marketplace lol, moneys tight and my ep3 threw a rod. The top end of the engine is built and brand new the bottom end is untouched. It has super tech valvetrain and the DC cams that’s all I know for the moment

Yes tuning will be needed. If valve clearance is a concern, then you would need to install something mechanical to prevent the VTC from turning too far and hitting a valve. DC may be able to tell you if ...

I suggest you learn as much as you can on YouTube. Once you get your Hondata, modify the tables slowly while the car is still stock to learn what the tables do. Once you are comfortable, install your mods and get tuning.

Did you ask Drag Cartel if that was needed when purchasing the cam? If Valve clearance is a concern you would need to look into pinning the VTC gear.

You would need to run a calibration with the mods closes to yours. Modifications may be needed as Hondata is not able to produce a file for every modification combination.
