Re: Progressively worse Kmanager to Kpro connection issues (cord and now bluetooth)

Dug through old files all morning and found 4.4.4. Installed it on a USB stick.

Then fired up the current build right after.

The update is clearly the issue.

Re: Progressively worse Kmanager to Kpro connection issues (cord and now bluetooth)

After reading further I see downgrading to an older build is also not a solution, which limits my options to waiting until the next update and hope it restores this function. This experience is souring me on everything to do with this product.

Re: Progressively worse Kmanager to Kpro connection issues (cord and now bluetooth)

This is a 3rd party app that tests BT signals. I am standing outside the shut driver's door a couple feet away. Can I please have an older build of Kmanager (pre-Dec '23, 4.5.6 etc) to troubleshoot this?

Re: Progressively worse Kmanager to Kpro connection issues (cord and now bluetooth)

I am the only swapped Honda in my circle of friends so that option is out. I'd believe the interference issue if this was a new swap or I had made changes but the setup has been unmodified for years now after literally dozens and dozens of logs and cals. Windows has no problem recognizing the BT ...

Re: Progressively worse Kmanager to Kpro connection issues (cord and now bluetooth)

Tried a few things today. Loading my cal and hitting F10 to log often caused the program to exit immediately, a crash. If I instead loaded the cal and used F9 to record it would do so, odd (cord only). Bluetooth is still not available despite Windows easily seeing it on device settings. Is there a ...

Re: Converting from 5-speed to 6-speed, am I good on reverse lockout?

I cannot believe it's that easy. Nothing has been easy on this swap lol.

Thanks for the always prompt reply.

Converting from 5-speed to 6-speed, am I good on reverse lockout?

Trans: AST5 6-speed
ECU: PND Kpro V4, PRB map
Harness: Base RSX

Swapping over to a 6-speed from an Accord 5-apeed. Word on the internets is to move the wire from B7 to B22 so the intake runner plug controls the reverse lockout like OEM if usingthe PRB map in Kpro. Upon further inspection, my base ...

Re: How do I lower cold (aka fast) idle only?

I will try that (block off the port) next time she needs something that involves removing the intake. She is daily driven but as a beta test project car it won't be long I can assure you.

To my knowledge all '03-05 Accords are cable driven and have an idle air control valve that mimics the purpose ...

Re: How do I lower cold (aka fast) idle only?

Unplugged? I was only aware of the idle relearn procedure that involves leaving the valve plugged in for K20/K24.

Back in the day on my older Hondas I'd unplug the IACV or equivalent and let it bottom out to 400-500 rpm set by a screw.

How do I lower cold (aka fast) idle only?

'04 K24a2 with Accord cable throttle body in an '01 Insight. No surging issues like many others report, idles warm at a steady 750 rpm, tuned out all knock.

All I want is for the cold idle aka fast idle to be lower than it is now (2k-ish). If it's below 40* outside and with the aftermarket exhaust ...
