If I disable it, it'll be like my obd0 was, right? It had no ECU control over the alternator?

It's a straight setup, with Rywire obd0 to obd1 conversation harness and obd0 engine harness, adapters for the obd1 dizzy, and adapters for the obd1 (oside) injectors.
Nothing else.

ELD & Alternator
.
My 90LS does not have an ELD, so of course I disabled it.
The other day after downloading from the ECU to check on something else, I got code 20, ELD error.
I've seen the option to disabled ecu control over the alternator, in the same menu where you disable the eld.
Do I need to do that to? As ...

Re: IAB switch point

... better explained:
When you start the engine, the primary runners are open. These runners are shorter and suited for low and mid-range rpms. The secondary runners which on my engine are set to open at 5750 are longer runners that are suited for higher rpms.
Yes? Is that correct?

My understanding was.... the secondary runners are the for better mid-range. ....or if they change at 5750 rpms, then the lower to mid-range runners are open first, then at 5750 it switches to the higher rpm runners.

IAB switch point

I'm looking for data regarding where the IAB switch point should be set.
In the default setup for the 92-95 B18C, it's set at 5750. Is that high or should they switch lower then that. This is a mostly stock jdm '96 b18c, with all converted to obd1, and a usdm p72.

There's no tuner 'round here that I'd trust. I think the basemap that came with hondata is fine for my car. Am I wrong?
I just need to figure out what is wrong. It might take me a while, and I've got it idling at 800. Takes a five seconds to drop there....
Otherwise it's running great. My car ...

I looked for vacuum leaks.... somewhat, I'll look more thuroughly. I didn't want to spray TB cleaner all over the intake and vacuum lines, so I'm looking for something else.
Thx

Yes, I did that and can't get anywhere near that low.
That's why I cranked the duty level way down.
Thx

I was going to upload the datalog at startup and warming up, but it says the file is too big....23mbs. Bigger then I thought. Can't find a way to edit or trim it down.
Here's one at almost warmed up.

Re: Biginner Questions

Thx, that helps.
I'm having difficulty getting the idle down.
I've had to adjust the iacv to half way between normal and zero, and turned the idle screw not far from closed...just to get to 840 rpms. And of course time the ignition.

Will the s300 software and drivers run on windows10?
I might want a small laptop or tablet just for this purpose.

I've only uploaded one base map...and drove it. It ran very well.
How would I find out if they were disabled or not? Can you download the current basemap the ECU is using?
Thanks

Re: Biginner Questions
.
When I open a new calibration for 92-95 JDM B18C, In Parameters/Misc
sometimes these two are checked off and sometimes blank. Why would it change?
Disable Injector Error
Disable barometric pressure sensor
....and with the base map opened by default are they checked or not checked?
Thanks
