Is the diode required when using the Hondata Boost Controller?

I will be using K-Pro(version 1) on a 2002 Acura RSX-S(K20A2)

- KManager version 1.4, also tried 1.3.7 and 1.3.5.4
- 02 RSX-S K20A2
- K20A2 ECU with k-pro

What I did was cut the wire and just have the input from the switch go directly to the ECU because I didnt want it to be active when I press on the brake pedal. I have a question regarding the setup of the Low/High Boost Control.

What is the best ECU connection to use? I am thinking about using the E22 Brake Switch (12V=on)? How do I hook up my switch if I am using the E22 pin? Does one side of my switch go to 12V and the other goes to the E22?

My question is when I receive the ECU back from Hondata can I just plug it back in and start driving my car? What map does Hondata program it with or will I have to upload a map to the ECU before I can drive my car? If one is ...
