Re: Attempting to Diag an issue with Boost
Update: This issue (suprisingly enough) was a fouled plug and coil pack. Apparently, some FK8 are afflicted with water ingress into the spark plug well, causing the pack and the plug to foul out.

Re: Attempting to Diag an issue with Boost
Updating this long overdue post: Issue remains. Re: Attempting to Diag an issue with Boost
What I find bizarre is this is the Hondata OTS Flex Fuel tune. I'm assuming there could be other factors causing this issue? I've run the OTS without issue for years. Can we assume faulty wastegate actuator maybe? Also, if I need to find a tuner for my specific need, that is something I could do as ...

Re: Attempting to Diag an issue with Boost
Before checking hoses, I went ahead and reflashed the tune, and pulled the battery for a few. no real change, here are a couple more log files, hopefully these are good enough for analysis.

Re: Attempting to Diag an issue with Boost
It has for oil. the only thing touched was the catch can being emptied.
Another thing to note is, if I attempt WOT, it feels almost like fuel cut or boost cut (best described), and the engine appears to make a similar noise to traction control when it hits around 17lbs boost and essentially Brick ...

Attempting to Diag an issue with Boost
Hello, Please move if this post is incorrectly sorted. I'm trying to diagnose an issue with my FK8. The issue is seemingly a boost leak, or an issue with the wastegate not functioning properly, or something else entirely, I'm a bit of a noob and just looking for advice. Here is what I know:
I will ...
I will ...

Re: FK8 FlexFuel Issues
Here is one more log that is at 20% Ethanol content as opposed to 25%, with the fuel pump duty limit off per suggestion. To me, these AFR's look better, not sure if they are ideal per throttle position, RPM and conditions? I did not do a full WOT pull, just a partial to see if the pump would max in ...

Re: FK8 FlexFuel Issues
My last question would be why this could have happened with the stock FlexFuel tune? considering i'm only running E30 mixture, this "should " be okay to run, even though E40 is typically the recommendation. Would this be because of octane choice at 93? also, would it be recommended to do a ...

FK8 FlexFuel Issues
Hello,
Having a strange issue with the stock FlexFuel calibration for the FK8.
I have two data logs attached. The log titled "WOT code pull" was a third gear WOT pull from 2000rpm, running 30% Ethanol with the fuel pump duty limit NOT turned on. During that pull and nearing the top end of the RPM ...
