sending the ecu for socketing
I was just wondering, if I'm going to send a virgin P28 in for socketing, do I need to contact Hondata first to let them know it's coming? Or am I just supposed to send a cashier's check with an ecu to some address and cross my fingers?
I guess I'm wondering if anyone else has sent in their ecu's ...

I did open up the ecu, and I can't "see" anything wrong. I checked that the S300 board was seated properly.
I ran out of time tonight, but I'm gonna cut the J1 tomorrow, and see how the ECU runs the teg. I don't want to drive it too much, as a stock P28 still isn't such a good thing to run a GSR ...

Is there any reason that you guys can think of that would cause ECU socketing to go bad over time?
