Re: s300 error code
As soon as it sees boost it cuts power
But then turn ignition off and back on or turn off via the app and its fine
What do you mean by you turn the ignition off and on via app? Do you turn the key in the ignition on off? Like spunkster said, a datalog and the calibration will help us help ...

Just noticed the tune was uploaded. How about a datalog?

Re: lean idle when hot first few min , and bad cold start
The main fuel tables should be tuned when the engine is warm and should be left alone after that has been done. The ecu has fuel compensations that add fuel depending on ECT temps so those are probably not set correctly. Changes need to be made under the fuel compensation tab rather than the fuel ...

Re: Boost fluctuation: Boost control settings vs EBC vs bad turbo
So I changed a couple things since I was having the boost oscillating issue. I went ahead and blocked off one of the gates. The thought behind doing this was too little back pressure my turbo to loose spool really quick due to 88mm's of gate letting too much exhaust gas out at once. And second I ...

Re: Boost fluctuation: Boost control settings vs EBC vs bad turbo
You currently have the quickspool set near 1400mbar.
When I got home last night I opened up calibration and my quick spool is set at 7psi which would convert into only 482.6 mBar. Unsure why you're seeing 1400mBar. I have asked around on other forums about this issues and some have suggested ...

You currently have the quickspool set near 1400mbar.
Ill have to look at that when I get home, currently at work. The last time I looked I believe I set it up to 6 or 8 PSI then it goes to my duty cycle on the boost map. If quick spool was set at 20psi, wouldnt it kick back on immediately if it ...

Re: Boost fluctuation: Boost control settings vs EBC vs bad turbo
Do I possibly have too much gate? I have dual 44's with 3lbs spings. My power goals are around 550-650 using a Borg Warner s300sx turbo. So my thought is not enough back pressure, gates open and let too much exhaust gas out making the turbo spool drop then try to rise back up again and this process ...

Re: Boost fluctuation: Boost control settings vs EBC vs bad turbo
That would be 15-16PSI, that would be more than I am commanding in the actual boost table. Would that keep it from dropping after hitting my target duty %? And is that just a band aid covering up whats causing the boost to drop?Spunkster wrote: Tue Oct 01, 2019 3:39 pm Try changing the quick spool to something closer to 1100 mbar

Re: Boost fluctuation: Boost control settings vs EBC vs bad turbo
Ok. I logged the issue 4 times so I am unsure if this one will match the picture but the issue is there for you to see. This is the third log of the oscillation. Is there anything mechanically that could be causing this such as a BOV or leaking Wastegate diaphram?

Boost fluctuation: Boost control settings vs EBC vs bad turbo
First time uploading attachments here so hope they work. Basically here is my issue I am having.
So every time I hit the duty cycle that's set in my boost control table the boost drops down, then hits the quick spool setting then boosts back up only to drop the boost back down again. Checked for ...

Re: Found a dyno but owner want to drive my car.
It's your fault for assuming you would be allowed to drive your own car on the dyno. No dyno owner would EVER let a stranger operate a vehicle on their dyno.
Yea, in hindsight I realized it would be a giant leap to trust a stranger to drive on your $30,000 dyno and possibly damaging the dyno ...

Found a dyno but owner want to drive my car.
I recently found a dyno in my town to rent but the problem is that the owner wont let me drive my own car while he operates they dyno. Little more info on my situation. I live in a somewhat rural area with not too many options for a tuner or dyno's near me, and to boot, absolutely nobody within 2 ...

Re: full throttle shows 60% on graph
So after pulling the ecu and pluging it into my stock 94 coupe, the tps worked perfectly. So I went back and probed around. I checked for continuity power, ground and 5v signal to ecu, pin D22. Power good, ground good, 5v......somehow the wire pulled out from the pin D22 at the ecu. So I pushed the ...

Re: full throttle shows 60% on graph
I didnt even think of trying that. I have a stock 95 coupe, auto. Ill plug in the ecu and just turn the key on engine off and see if it reads tps position. Thanks for the advice, I will report back later this evening.
