I know this is a few years old thread but I'm currently in same boat. And this thread ends I think I figured out well is there results lol. I replaced with a oh oh oh crappys tried multiple out in there lot . So is the issue I need new alternator that's oem. ?

I have kpro v3 can I get an upgrade and how do I get this all too you do I need to fill something out I wanna just upgrade then to v4 thanks

Burnt fb4 and u4 everything works except laptop connects untill it says unrecognizable USB . On the ecu end I only get a red light no green I can start and drive car . Just need to know what the ferrit to buy is and the chip or black box type thing that has 3 going in and 2 going out on other side ...
