I cleared security & reuploaded and the car starts fine but the DTC still comes on within a few seconds and the voltage is still the same. I continued on with the Helms procedure, the voltage between E8 & A24 is zero, and if I disconnect connector E and ground E8 I still don't get battery voltage ...

P1166 DTC - strange voltage
just started getting a P1166 error. I started following the troubleshooting procedure in the Helms, the fuses are good, but the voltage between ECU pins A1 & A24 with the ignition on is only between 3-4 volts instead of battery voltage. does this mean the Primary O2 is damaged, or the ECU? I would ...

RPM Index bug?
I'm working on a calibration that has the RPM index rows rescaled, and I noticed something odd when reviewing datalogs. with the "Tables Follow VTEC/Cam Angle" options on, as you click thru the datalog, the corresponding highlighted area of the tables is in the wrong place! in other words the red ...

try this, set your low cam angles to zero in the first three columns for 1000 rpm and below. that way you are not inducing a cam angle rotation when the car is at idle. then whenever you upload a kal, start the car and let it idle (with no throttle input) for a few minutes until it reaches operating ...
