If possible :
VTEC status,
open/closed loop status
For external datalogging purpose that could be awesome !

Re: Updated CAN Protocol for AIM MXS (with all analogs and Lambda)
Is it possible to include "Mil status" in the protocols ?
that would be great since i have only a CAN interface between the dashboard and kpro board

Re: Updated CAN Protocol for AIM MXS (with all analogs and Lambda)
I use approximations over a specific range that i choose, no Steinhart-Hart.
Ethanol/Fuel temp is already included in your Motec SDL/ADL protocol that i used (i wanted the 8 analog inputs, and the AIM can protocol has only 4 analogs inputs), but not included in the AIM reading protocol i developed ...

Re: Updated CAN Protocol for AIM MXS (with all analogs and Lambda)
Also, i got some questions about the fact that the Ethanol content and Fuel temperature is not included in my protocol :
i can add them but i may ask a little contribution on the time spent for this, and if you want more help on how to install other custom sensors if you're not able to calculate ...

Re: Updated CAN Protocol for AIM MXS (with all analogs and Lambda)
Example of adding a custom temperature sensor on a Kpro, how to wire it, how to create the Kpro custom input, and the math channel for the AIM :
1) EGT sensor :
EGT sensors are for most of them k-type sensors, that requires amplifications to be read. I choose to use a RTD sensor supplied by AEM ...

Updated CAN Protocol for AIM MXS (with all analogs and Lambda)
Hi,
since i got lot of PM/emails asking for my custom AIM MXS CAN protocol for the KPRO V4, here is my version and documentation :
The Kpro can protocol included in the AIM library has some limitations :
- only 2 analog inputs returned, for specific sensors (not documented)

Sorry i was not informed of the private message via email,
i'm sending a PM to all who asked so you can send me an email and i can send the can protocol with the setup i'm using

Re: VTC issues code P0010
Had the same on my engine, the intake cam was physically fixed to 0° because the previous ECU managing the engine was not VTC ready (and intake cam was 20° off on the timing chain to simulate VTC so i had another code also).
So check under the pulley / inspect the mecanism ?

Re: AIM MXS Strada and Kpro Oil Pressure
I developed a custom kpro can protocol for the AIM MXS Strada (non strada also).
I added the Lambda reading since AIM decided to ignore this stream in the protocol.
The 8 analog inputs are returned as raw mv values, and i added my calculations using Math channels for my custom sensors (fuel ...

Fuel/Ignition compensation for AIT and ECT
Hi,
lets say i have compensation for fuel and ignition for AIT, and the highest cell is 175°F.
What happens at 200°F ? Interpolation from the 175°F value (so ~1.15x more), or it takes the 175°F value because it's the maximum ?
The Kmanager documentation does not explain this (or maybe i did not ...

ECU grounding with insulated ECU casing
Hi,
i'm running a K-Pro in an Ariel Atom, with rigid engine mounts : so i need to insulate the ECU case from the chassis with silent blocks to prevent it from breaking due to vibrations.
I'll bolt a ground wire from the chassis to one of the ECU cover bolts, but i'm wondering if this ground wire ...
